A Comprehensive Overview of our Endodontic Services
When the nerve in your tooth dies, Endodontic Therapy, or Root Canal Treatment is necessary to save your tooth.
Root Canal Therapy can be completed in one to three visits and is quite comfortable. We will use x-rays and other tests to diagnose the need for Root Canal treatment. A root canal is similar to having a filling placed, but instead of the restorative material being only at the top of the tooth, a filling is placed throughout the entire tooth down to the root.
Once the Root Canal has been completed, further restorative procedures such as posts, core build-ups and crowns may be necessary to ensure that your tooth will be strong and less apt to fracture or break below the gum line.
Root Canal Therapy can save an infected tooth, preventing extraction and more costly treatments to replace the missing tooth.
